The Greengate Hotel is a spectacular property, with brick facades, sun-drenched patios, stately interior rooms, and even an airy, open rooftop terrace for celebrating in style. Whether you want just one space or all of them, this North Shore venue hire option will serve as the perfect backdrop for your Sydney event.
In total, we have five separate rooms suitable for corporate functions, private dining, and cocktail parties. We can cater to intimate groups of just five people, or to large groups of up to 220 guests – and we can’t wait to welcome you.Â
The Terrace Room & Verandah
The Terrace Room & Verandah is perfect for smaller seated functions, and for cocktail parties. It’s an opulent, bright space that allows guests to mingle indoors amongst the sophisticated décor, and outside amongst the fresh air and bright warmth.
Large French doors connecting these spaces can be thrown wide open or closed depending on how you want to use the space.

The Private Bar & Balcony
Celebrate indoors with the flow of a private balcony in this exclusive party venue. It’s traditional and chic, offering space for mid-sized groups to enjoy dinner, or for larger groups to enjoy cocktails and appetizers together.
The Private Bar & Balcony venue also includes access to a smaller adjoining room, which can function as anything from a break-out space, to storage area, to staging room. These three spaces together create a highly flexible option for venue hire in Sydney.

The Heritage Terrace Room
The Heritage Terrace Room is an elegant, open space with French doors and plenty of windows to allow in an abundance of natural light. It comes with a private bar, so guests can order and receive drinks on site.
By itself, this is a great space for smaller groups for cocktails or dinner, but it can easily be combined with The Atrium, a rooftop terrace just outside that adds significantly more space, and creates a beautiful indoor-outdoor flow for your event.

The Atrium
The Atrium is the perfect North Shore venue hire for anyone looking for an outdoor space with a view. This covered rooftop terrace invites you to enjoy the outdoor fresh air, with the benefit of cover in case of rain or excessive heat.
Additionally, the sides can be pulled down and heaters switched on, ensuring you and your guests can carry on the party should the weather take a turn for the worse. This is a popular venue for wedding ceremonies and cocktail receptions, outdoor soirees, and more.

The Boardroom
The Boardroom is an elevated space for meetings, training sessions, and small conferences. It is refined and comfortable, providing a welcoming space for colleagues and businesses working together. It can also be converted into a dining space for up to 12 people.
